What this application does

Hermes is a personal AI assistant owned and run by Ben Wally for his own use. It works through the command line and automatically processes email and calendar events from his own Google account to:

The application only ever touches the account owner's own data. It is not offered to the public, has no other users, and is not a commercial product.

This privacy policy explains what data this application accesses, why it is accessed, how it is used and stored, and what rights you (the account owner) have over that data.

1. What data does this application access, and why?

Access is granted only through the official Google OAuth 2.0 flow, and only for the scopes listed on the consent screen. The application does not request or collect any data beyond the scopes it asks for.

Data is used only to provide the features described above, on the owner's own machine others. It translates your request into the correct API calls and returns the result.

Tokens are kept in the owner's profile directory with normal file permissions and are scoped to a single Google account. The application does not transmit tokens or data over the network except to Google's official API endpoints over TLS.
